Shopping

: A wide range of shops nearby, from small boutiques and specialist shops up to large shopping centres, and supermarkets. The fish market in Lagos is open every morning except Sunday where you can purchase fish and seafood fresh off the boat.
There is a farmers market on in Lagos every Saturday morning where you can mingle with the locals to buy fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, bread and even live chickens, ducks and rabbits if you wish.

Activities

: Grotto trips from the nearby beaches in and around Lagos, fishing safaris and sightseeing trips from Lagos Marina, horse riding, tennis, local zoos and wildlife centres and bird watching. You should also take a trip to the villages of Monchique and Caldas da Monchique to sample the spa waters and olde-worlde charm (and to eat the famous local specialty, Chicken Piri-Piri.)

Water Parks

: There are 3 superb water parks along the Algarve. The closest is Slide and Splash approximately 15 miles away. There's something for everyone.

: Ranging from the superb surfing to the more sedate pedallos, there is something for every taste, age and capability. There are a number of water sport centres very close at hand offering, diving, windsurfing, surfing, water skiing and much much more.
